Urupunyakavu Beach

Urupunyakavu Beach is a major beach in Moodadi Grama Panchayat. Urupunyakavu Sree Durga Bhagavathy Temple is also located nearby. The temple is situated on a hillock that offers a beautiful view of the Arabian Sea. The temple and the beach are famous for rituals like Bali Tharpanam (ancestral offerings) performed at Karkidaka Vavu.
